ACE WILSON: 1.00 – 1.30
Alt-rock singer from London.
ADRENALINE ANIMALS: 12.15 – 12.45
One of the wildest rock and roll bands in London fronted by the irrepressible Ad Edwards.
SONS: 11.30 – 12.00
Two-piece from Brighton who have been together since January 2016. After uploading three demos at the start of last year they were on the bill for landmark gigs like This Feeling, The Great Escape Festival, Camden Rocks and Club Fandango within months.
APEMAN SPACEMAN: 10.45 – 11.15
Formed in spring 2014. They took their name from a Brian Cox show. They are Johnny Cooke, Rikki Mehta, Carl Dalemo and Ethan Kennedy, all from previously exploded bands, including Dogs and Razorlight. They haven’t achieved anything yet.
GLAM SKANKS: 10.00 – 10.30
Glam Skanks create a colorful audiovisual extravaganza using familiar tints from T Rex, The Runaways, David Bowie and The Sweet, with the drama of Alice Cooper and the genuine rock sensibility of Aerosmith, all wrapped up in a full-blown cosmetic Rocky Horror show meets Hedwig androgyny.
Pure entertainment and bigger than life, Glam Skanks are here to light up the world with their new release, ‘Glitter City’.
A rock and roll roller coaster ride in a blazing cloud of glitter and raining feather boas, Glam Skanks are high-energy, free-spirited and lusty, with a bravado that screams Sunset Strip dreams and Hollywood nights that never end. They will wake you up, smack you down, get your heart beating and your mascara running. Drag Rock for the masses.
NICK ASLAM’S REBEL CITY REVIVAL: 9.15 – 9.45
Nick Aslam is one of the UK’s most original sounding acoustic singer songwriters.
Hungry from the council estates and streets of Burton On Trent he continues his quest in the music industry with great support from the BBC & local radio stations across the UK which has already landed him great support slots with the likes of
Mark Morris (from the Bluetones), Boz Boorer (Songwriter for Morissey, The Smiths) as well as playing acoustic stages at some of the UK’s festivals and 02 Academies.
EVIL EDNA: 8.30 – 9.00
Rambunctious London based rockabilly/harmonica booze-blues band.
PERSONAL PROPAGANDA MACHINE: 7.45 – 8.15
Personal Propaganda Machine – an interfusion of Liquorice River and JI Overlord. Motorik beats; Deadpan voices; Swirling synths; Crystalline riffs; Buzzing basslines; Soaring chords. It does not matter – this is music that is designed to elevate the limbs and life of the listener. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy making it. All the best
