Human in Bloom – www.facebook.com/humaninbloom
EP release show celebrating the release of ‘The End Of Bravado’
A humble collision of crashing sounds and well driven galactic ambience threaded with some bass-heavy fun, whirring spaceships and alien invaders.
They’re standard-rockers, and psychedelic enough to the point of return. Delivering a message that shows homage to the unexpressed anger of a population, as well as its mumbling, musical gibberish. They speak of power struggles, politics, truth, freedom, mental health, rebellion, loss and sensuality.
NIGHTMARE AIR – www.facebook.com/nightmareairmusic
Nightmare Air based in Los Angeles, CA—Dave Dupuis [guitar, vocals], Swaan Miller [bass, vocals], and Jimmy Lucido [drums]—emit swaths of analog synth transmissions punctuated by distorted guitars before succumbing to hummable hooks befitting of the big screen. This marriage of tight craft and aural expanse perfectly sets the scene for the Los Angeles trio’s aptly titled second full-length album Fade Out released in March of 2018 on Nevado Music sharing a label w/ lady rockers Deap Vally.
Iamwarface – www.facebook.com/iamwarface
IAMWARFACE are an Electro Rock Band formed in London 2016 by singer/producer Matt Warneford. His band consists of Lou Matthews (Guitars), Tom Howe (DJ Synth), Mike Smith (Bass) and Adam Stanley (Drums). The name is a metaphor for Warneford’s own original style of bombastic high-energy groove based electro-rock, affectionately branded “Rocktronica” by none other than legendary Virgin Radio host Eddy Temple-Morris.
IAMWARFACE have taken the pop route but they keep it dangerous with a fusion of 80’s style vocals, abstract guitars, moody layered synth riffs and pounding drum beats. The band have been influenced by many peers such as Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, Kasabian, Muse, Big Black Delta, Nero, Queens of the Stone Age, Tears For Fears, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Black Keys and MGMT. They have so far released a number of singles that have been met with high acclaim by both public and industry peers. In fact, Eddy TM has stated that their upcoming single “Closer” is ‘…the best thing they have ever done…’ and already tipped it as THE track of 2018
Tim Muddiman & The Strange – www.facebook.com/timmuddimanandthestrange
Tim Muddiman is a multi Instrumentalist, long time member of The Gary Numan band and the brains behind his own creative project “The Strange”
Fiercely independent in a world where commercialism and the mainstream dictate fortune Tim is soon to release his second album called Domino Blitz funded by the growing platform of Pledge Music.
Between an extensive touring schedule with Gary Numan, Tim and his band are playing shows in the UK in February 2018 and more later in the year globally.
Domino Blitz has been described as Alternative Indie Blues and the songs tell stories of profound romance with a twist and historic tales with a modern angst.
National Service – www.facebook.com/nationalservicemusic
National Service are a four piece from London drawing influence from the likes of Interpol, The xx, Radiohead and Grizzly Bear. Their debut single ‘A Little More Time’ encapsulates the bands honest vocals, dense harmony, and brooding hypnotic grooves.
Their second Single ‘Timid Kisses’ is an urgent, restless guitar track that couples National Service’s signature baritone vocal with hypnotic, unrelenting drums. While the tender lyric recalls the fond memory of a love lost, the claustrophobia in the music points towards a more forlorn nostalgia. The song ascends to its frantic climax, ruminating on what is now and what could have been.
Black Palms – www.facebook.com/blackpalmsmusic
Black Palms are an emerging three-piece rock band. They count Black Sabbath, Ella Fitzgerald and Royal Blood as influences and have taken London by storm with their unique brand of soulful epic rock. The trio spent their first year captivating audiences with their live shows and have now released a debut single ‘Turned to Ash’ available from www.blackpalms.co.uk.
