THE JACQUES
https://www.facebook.com/TheJacquesBand/?fref=ts
Since making their London debut at Hyde Park in May 2014 with The Libertines, The Jacques have been quietly establishing themselves as one of the UK’s best kept secrets - playing over 75 shows in the UK, Netherlands, Germany and USA.
“The important thing is that record companies don’t try to sign singers who sound like Adele, Ed Sheeran or Sam Smith, because only truly original artists succeed. Far more exciting are bands like The Jacques who may succeed in the States in the way that their spiritual forefathers, The Libertines, were never together enough to do.”
- Ian Grittins / BA Highlife
Black Doldrums
Black Doldrums, the London neo-psyche duo have made their four track EP available in the iTunes Store. A fantastic chunk of blazing psyche/gaze with fuzzed-out guitars and pounding drums. As I said, four tracks, but over half an hour of great music. The EP is called ‘Exit City Lights’. Check ’em out y’all! – Danzog (Australia)

The Theme (acoustic)
The Theme originating from South London have been on the scene for some time now having great success, They have been out promoting their new EP Changes. With gigs such as The Cavern Liverpool, Worthing Music Mania Festival and supporting the likes of not only The Swagger but Chris Helme from the post Stone Roses outfit The Seahorse plus Mark Morriss from The Bluetones. With their Mod/Britpop meets indie sound these lads are hitting all the right notes and a band not to missed….
