Musicians Against Homelessness: BLESS + Luna Lacuna + Scott Dean
January 17, 2017 @ 7:30 pm - January 18, 2017 @ 12:30 am
Nambucca are very pleased to continue a series of regular events to support Musicians Against Homelessness in association with the charity Crisis.
Their manifesto is clear and concise: to raise funds for the charity and provide gig opportunities for up-and-coming bands.

7.30 til midnight: £5 entry (all profits go to Crisis)
BLESS: 10.00 - 10.30
If Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Coral were both from London and formed a supergroup they might sound something like these north London rapscallions.

LUNA LACUNA: 9.15 - 9.45
Luna Lacuna roughly and literally translated from Latin is ‘Moon Hole’ which pleases us immensely as we still can’t avoid snickering when in setting up for a gig it’s time to get our Big Muffs out!
The name’s more complex meaning befitted the original solo project coming from the founding member’s darker days - ‘of or infuenced by the moon’ and ‘an emptiness or depression, nothingness, an unfilled space’. Further connotations are a missing passage in text ie reading between the lines and an extended silence in a piece of music. Not much of the latter these days, it’s far more entertaining as a collective of Lacunatics!

SCOTT DEAN: 8.30 - 9.00
London based indie-rock solo acoustic artist is back on the scene after refocusing his creative energy into a brand new project.
